Review
“Finding Jacob,” the second title in the Havenridge series, is a standalone mystery. Stephanie Oliver has secured a contract with a publisher to document the darkest secrets of the Brewer family of Havenridge, Georgia. Her research takes her to New Orleans where she hooks up with some interesting professional people who have revealing information. Someone though does not want her to finish the project as several attempts on her life are carried out. “Finding Jacob” is a multi-layered suspenseful page turning read that concludes with a satisfying ending that will have readers begging for more tales of Havenridge Georgia.

First, you get acquainted with the main character and feel empathy for her. Then you find she doesn’t want her new friends to learn about her past. Later it’s revealed which part of her past she is hiding. Soon she discovers she’s not the only one with secrets.
Just had a glimpse at the 2nd book in this series and can see how these secrets will be woven into the next story. Now I’m anxious to read “Finding Jacob”.

Amazon Review of The Rainbow Murders:
5.0 out of 5 stars Good Read ~ draws you in!
Suspenseful read! Being set in Tampa it was fun to read about locations and restaurants I’m familiar with. Even if you’re not from the area, you’ll enjoy this book! April and her mother are great characters and boy does April manage to sabotage her potential ‘love life’! Vic and her Mother seem to pull her back on track. Enjoyable and suspenseful…..you’ll be checking the locks on your doors!

He tries to determine if Amber Moon is the ring leader or some other staff member. When Amber begins to question her choices and her conviction, she finds out you can’t always trust your gut.

I really enjoyed the various stories included in this book. I read this book because I knew it had the story of Whitey Winters who was a squadron mate of my father’s.

Editorial Review
“The Pied Piper: Evil Returns,” the third in the Amber Series of Ybor City, is by far the best in this dark and sinister sequence of procedural works. Chris Coad Taylor keeps getting better and better with her mystery novels that take place in the Tampa area. This time out Joe Lopez leads a task force of law enforcement agencies including the FBI on the trail of an individual who is kidnapping children, they suspect for, the sex trafficking network worldwide. His pregnant wife Amber helps unlock other aspects in the case as it unfolds. The Rainbow Murders, a cold case never solved, is back on the agenda as well that some feel may be related. “The Pied Piper: Evil Returns” is a page-turner of suspense that unwinds like a ticking time bomb to its final, explosive conclusion.

We had the pleasure of buying this book at a book signing event. I enjoyed meeting a few of the veterans featured in this book, as well as Chris Coad Taylor the author. I really enjoyed reading this book on WWII. History buffs and anyone interested in stories about some of the men that served in the war would enjoy reading this book. Great job Chris Coad Taylor.
